Fireworks and 4th of July Happenings in and around Westchester County

Are you a Westchester County family looking for great spots to catch Fourth of July festivities and fireworks?  Macaroni KID Armonk - Chappaqua - Mount Kisco - Pleasantville has rounded up a variety of events with fireworks all around Westchester County.  Fireworks events are listed in date order below.

June 25th  

Cortlandt Waterfront Park

⏰ 6-11pm

250th Re-enactment and Victory Town Plaque Dedication, 6:30 PM- 7:00 PM and 42nd Infantry Division Concert Band, 7:00 PM- 9:00 PM, Fireworks 9:00PM

June 27th  

Onatru Farm Park

⏰ 6-11pm

Enjoy live music, delicious offerings from local food trucks, and activities for all ages as you gather with family, friends, and neighbors. Bring your blankets, chairs, and flashlights, and stay for a dazzling fireworks finale as we celebrate freedom and togetherness.

July 1st 

Reis Park, Katonah

⏰ 5:00pm

Food, fireworks and fun! There will be a basketball tournament, hot dog eating contest, and food trucks. For Somers residents and guests. 

July 2nd 

White Plains High School 

📍 550 North Street, White Plains, NY

⏰ 6:30-9:30pm

A fun filled evening of entertainment, giant inflatable rides, food and fireworks.

Leonard Wagner Memorial Park, Putnam Valley

⏰ 7:00pm

Food trucks and music by Andrea & the Armenian Rug Riders starts at 7:00pm followed by fireworks at 9:00pm.


Louis Engel Park, Ossining

⏰ 5-10pm

RiverJam Summer Concert and Fireworks night. Music from the Demolition Brass Band and the Mike Risko Band starts at 5pm. A reading of the Declaration of Independence and Fireworks starts at 7pm.

July 3rd-4th 

Rockland Boulders

Ticketed events. Start times vary. Post-game fireworks.

Hudson Valley Renegades   

Ticketed event. Post-game fireworks.

July 3rd 

Kensico Dam, Valhalla 

⏰ 5-10pm

Pre-concert entertainment begins at 5 p.m. with a guest DJ, and the Naked Soul Band at 7 p.m. Fireworks begin around 9 p.m. Refreshments will be available for purchase. Free parking and admission. Bring blankets and chairs for seating. Carpooling or taking mass transit is suggested. 


July 4th  

Caramoor, Katonah

⏰ 8pm

The Westchester Symphonic Winds perform at 8pm and fireworks follow at 9pm. Adult tickets start at $26, child tickets at $15.

Pound Ridge 

⏰ 4:30pm
Bring your own chairs and blankets to enjoy the show with food trucks and live music before the fireworks display starting at 5pm. Due to space constraints, walking is encouraged.  A shuttle is available from Pound Ridge Elementary School. Check the link for information about parking passes.

Harbor Island Park, Mamaroneck

⏰ 4pm

The Village of Mamaroneck Fire Department will host their 2026 Firemen’s Carnival at Harbor Island Park from Friday, June 26th through Sunday, July 5th. Celebrate independence day with the Firemen's Carnival at 4pm, live music beginning at 6pm and a spectacular fireworks display at approximately 9:15pm.

Playland Park, Rye

⏰ 9pm

Enjoy fireworks over the sound at Playland! If you miss it on the 4th, fireworks are recurring on Fridays at Playland until September 4th.

Barley Beach House, Rye

⏰ 6-10pm

Celebrate the 4th on the beach with an all-inclusive meal, DJ, Hawaiian dancers, and fireworks across the Sound. Deck seating is limited so bring your own blankets and chairs to set up in the sand.

Pierson Park, Tarrytown

⏰ 1-10pm

Spend the day at Pierson Park with ongoing live music, food trucks and a kids fun zone before the fireworks over the Hudson after dark. It is strongly recommended that you take the train as parking is limited. 

Peekskill Riverfront 

Following the City of Peekskill Parade, celebrate with live music, food trucks, and fireworks.

Spark the Sound, New Rochelle

⏰ 6-10pm

Admission and parking are free, and carpooling is strongly suggested due to limited space.  Lawn chairs or blankets and picnic baskets are recommended. Enjoy pre-concert live music at 6pm.  Fireworks begin at 9pm. 

Port Chester High School

⏰ 6pm

Join for live music, food trucks and bouncy castles at 6pm. Fireworks at 9pm.

Boscobel, Garrison

⏰ 7-9:30pm

Celebrate the 4th with a concert inspired by the holiday! Pack a picnic or enjoy the many food truck vendors. Tickets start at $28.

Walkway over the Hudson, Poughkeepsie

⏰ 6pm

General admission: $25

Be sky-high 212 feet up on the Walkway Over the Hudson to enjoy a festive fireworks display over the Hudson River.

Red, White and Boom Legoland, Goshen
